"Take me back in your arms Manila, and promise me you'll never let me go, promise me you'll never let me go"
"Poootek! Ang ineeeet!" was the first thing that I uttered when I stepped out of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Terminal 'bulok' one) into the warm Manila weather. My body was already spewing buckets of sweat but it's fine by me at least I'm already home. It feels good to be back here.
The first person to greet me when I arrived at my house was my grandmother. She greeted me with tears and plenty of hugs. It's kinda funny because when I left for europe, she was also crying. I said it's only going to be three months but to her it's like three years. I guess I'll always be grandma's boy.
One of the main reasons that I was excited to get home is my one week vacation from work. Although that 'vacation' turned into a disaster. I was hit by jet lag by my third day here and caught a cold (sniffles, cough and everything else). So mainly that was one of the reasons I wasn't able to post something new (aside from the reason that I didn't have internet connection in my apartment in Frankfurt -- and I was too tired to write something to be posted in my blog every time I get home from work).
But anyway, things are getting better now...
