You could go with this, You could go with that.
The past weeks had been very busy for me. There's been a lot of things that keeping me from using the PC at home nowadays. Well, except for the fact that my work requires me to sit infront of a computer for more than eight hours, I've been busying myself with certain distractions.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us1. Heroes. I've been reading a lot of articles about this TV series on Digg.com. Actually, I'm not a fan of TV series because of my short attention span or maybe because I can't stand the 'to be continued' moments of such shows. However, since the descriptions and the hype got me interested (Heroes: Ordinary people discovering they have extra-ordinary powers), I bought one of those DVD compilations from one of the 'manangs' and 'manongs' from the sidewalk *wink* *wink*. hmmm.. I'm going to enjoy episode 5 tonight and download every Graphic Novel from the NBC site. yum!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us2. God of War II. "I am the God of War! I shall make you suffer" says Kratos as he summons Poseidon's Rage to fry the enemies to bits. GoWII is one of those ps2 games that pushed the console to the limits because of its stunning graphics and awesome gameplay. What I liked about the game is that it featured lots of creatures and characters from the Greek Mythology and squeezed them all into a very engaging story. Overall GoWII is like watching a movie wherein you control the main character. This game should've been included in my 'pwnd games list' days after I bought it, unfortunately the copy that I got is glitchy and I wasn't able to move on with the game. Just recently, I bought another copy from Greenhills wherein the seller said it was the 'full version' of the game.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us 3. Nintendo DS' Cake Mania and Diner Dash. Cake Mania and Diner Dash has already been available for download from the internet. It was just ported for the Nintendo DS. One thing that I can say about this games is that they are LIFE DESTROYERS! Both games are addictive, time-wasters and sleep robbers! Stay away from these games! [I think I'll have another round before I go to bed. heehee.]

4. Movies. Ahhh... one of my favorite things. I'll have a separate post about this.

5. Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Got this book from a colleague last December in an exchange gift. Basically it's a book on financial savings and the sort. I got past the first two chapters but when the book started to introduce terms like assests, liabilities, income and expenses, my eyes became blurry and images of highschool accounting and spreadsheets flashed right in front of me... *shivers*. I'll reread it again and hopefully I can finish it because I still have this '7 habits of Highly Effective People' that I got from my manager.

Incidentally, bf plays God of War, too. I've never been into gaming but when he introduced me to his mistress -- his PS2 that is -- I've sort of became a convert. I've conquered Tekken 5 and am eyeing Shadow of the Colossus as the next challenge. Haha.

P.S. You know the game ICO? It's a prelude game of Shadow. In case you know where to buy a genuine copy of that, please tell me (we've been on the hunt for it some light years already). I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance. Hihi.

Don't just eye Shadow of the Colossus, Play it! It's a very very nice game. Hehehe.

Once I came across a bootlegged ICO but ignored it since I have no idea about Shadow yet. But after I plated SoC, I went back to the place and it's no longer available. Well there is this shop in Raon wherein all sorts of burned Ps2 games are available (That's where I found Kingdom Hearts). I got a copy of ICO there but my PS2 cannot play it properly. huhuhu.

I'm also for the lookout for ICO and frequently visits DataBlitz if there are any available. I'll notify you if ever one comes my way. :) teehee.

The first time I watched him play it, initial reaction was: Man, it's so boooring! I want some action and karate chops. Haha. But with my brothers and cousins joining the SoC bandwagon, what am I to do but hitch in? Hahaha.

Anyhoo, bf's console doesn't accept burned copies. Ayaw kasing ipamodify eh. Haha. We're still waiting for our own though. Thank God for relatives abroad. Hihi.

Thanks btw. Do keep me posted. :)
