Life
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Phase one
Along with the soft light of the sun, Innocence blooms.
A simple breeze breathes in a new beggining, a much needed breath of confidence to face the days and minutes to come.

Phase two
Along with the gentle brush of lips against a cheek, love grows. The time when two unites and hearts pound as one, the breath of confidence turns into a bond, much stronger. Unafraid to face the months and weeks to come.

Phase three
Along with the setting of the mighty sun, time fades away. Loneliness becomes an uninvited companion, a robber of confidence and stealer of strength until none is left to face the decades and years to come.

Phase four
Nothing more to say...
We're together again.

Eyes wide open
I never thought that I would be hooked up to one of Bjork's album -- well, her Greatest Hits album at least. Back in the 90's I thought that she's just an outlandish, freak artist that only produces gibberish. That is until I heard one of her songs entitled Joga which featured her vocal prowess and eccentric beat. I loved it. Although she said that the song is about iceland and her friend, for me it is one beautifully written love song.

It's early morning
No-one is awake
I'm back at my cliff
Still throwing things off
I listen to the sounds they make
On their way down
I follow with my eyes 'til they crash
I imagine what my body would sound like
Slamming against those rocks
And when it lands
Will my eyes be closed or open?

The last line hit me. If I'm falling to my death, will my eyes be wide open or will I just close it and let my other senses be my witnesses? It's hard to imagine. How about you?
